AI Training
Mercor — Agentic Workflow Capture for AI Training Data
October 2026 to present
Plan, record, and narrate complex naturalistic macOS workflows within the K-12 education domain to generate high-fidelity training and evaluation data for frontier AI systems. Design authentic professional tasks spanning curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment design, and standards research, applying expert judgment at each decision point to model realistic educator reasoning. Produce complete, validated deliverables accompanied by structured narration that surfaces intent, trade-offs, and professional decision-making for AI model training.
Mercor — Agentic AI Environment and Task Design for K-12 Education
August 2026 to present
Design multi-document synthetic education environments used to train and evaluate frontier agentic AI systems on real-world institutional workflows. Author complex multi-step tasks requiring long-horizon reasoning, cross-document synthesis, latent obligation detection, and multi-stakeholder judgment across curriculum, special education law, assessment, and district operations. Build expert golden deliverables and calibrated grading rubrics that enable objective scoring of agentic system performance against expert human baselines.
Mercor — LLM Evaluation and Benchmarking for K-12 Education
April 2026 to present
Design evaluation task scenarios and expert reference solutions used to benchmark frontier LLM performance on K-12 curriculum reasoning, standards interpretation, and policy compliance. Engineer multi-dimensional scoring rubrics measuring factual accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and process integrity across high-stakes education contexts. Author golden-standard responses across NGSS, Common Core, IB, and Cambridge frameworks to score model outputs on curriculum design, assessment, and standards-aligned instruction.
Micro1 — AI Speech and Prosody Evaluation for Voice Model Training
January 2026 to present
Conduct perceptual voice analysis for AI training datasets, evaluating speaker attributes and delivery across acoustic, prosodic, and affective dimensions. Apply linguistic and pedagogical judgment to assess naturalness, clarity, and expressiveness in model-generated speech. Provide detailed qualitative feedback that refines speech-related AI systems and improves model output quality.
Curriculum Design
Three Rivers Special Services Cooperative — K-12 Curriculum Suite
August 2024 to June 2025
Delivered end-to-end curriculum projects spanning four initiatives: a K-12 Social-Emotional Learning program (Mindbuilder), a middle school Spanish curriculum, a professional "How to Tutor" guide for late-primary and secondary educators, and standards-aligned Math and ELA lessons for Grades 3 through 8. Each project translated complex domain requirements into modular, reusable instructional materials for an education cooperative serving multiple South Dakota school districts.
